POLTER PUMPS was founded in 2003 in Naroda, Ahmedabad, by Sumit Bansal. The goal was a pump that keeps running season after season on rough rural power, at a price a farmer can actually pay. POLTER PUMPS is the brand of Mapple Pumps Pvt. Ltd. The head office and manufacturing plant are in Naroda, Ahmedabad; a second office at Najafgarh, Delhi handles North India sales and service.

In 23+ years the POLTER range has grown to 170+ models across six categories: heavy duty borewell submersible pumpsets, self-priming monoblock pumps, centrifugal monoblock pumpsets, open well pumps, pressure booster sets and AC induction motors, plus solar pumping systems.

Every POLTER pump is run on a hydraulic test bench and its output measured before dispatch — every unit, not one sample per batch. Each pump carries a cast iron body, a copper wound motor with thermal overload protection.

POLTER pumps are installed across Gujarat, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and the southern states. In the north the range reaches Delhi NCR, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir, supplied from our Najafgarh, Delhi office. Beyond India, POLTER pumps are exported to Nepal. They reach those sites through three routes: 500+ dealers, direct supply to project sites, and OEM manufacturing for other brands.

Different regions of India need different pumping solutions, and POLTER PUMPS builds pumps to handle these conditions. In areas like Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir and Nepal Terai, borewells can be deep, locations can be remote, and power supply can often be unstable Our submersible pumps are designed to deliver reliable performance in challenging conditions. We also work closely with our dealers to keep important spare parts available nearby, helping customers get faster support when they need it.

With a plant capacity of 50,000 pumps per year, POLTER PUMPS manufactures products according to Bureau of Indian Standards specifications, with a focus on reliable performance and consistent quality.

As a pump and motor manufacturer in India, we make both at our own facilities in Ahmedabad and Delhi. Most brands depend on outside suppliers for motors. We do not.

At POLTER PUMPS the motor and the pump end are assembled and tested as one unit, so the pair is proved to work together before the carton is sealed. A bought-in motor married to a bought-in pump end is only ever tested on paper.

Making both in-house also means the same build standard runs through all 170+ POLTER models — one cast iron body specification, one winding specification, one bench test.

When something does go wrong, POLTER engineers open the unit themselves. There is no waiting on an outside motor supplier to accept or deny a fault, which is what turns a two-day repair into a two-month argument.

Inside Our Factory

Our factory runs modern CNC machines, assembly lines and testing equipment. Every pump is inspected at multiple stages of production, so problems are caught before a pump ever leaves us.

We use quality cast iron, stainless steel and copper from suppliers we have worked with for years. Changing a metal supplier to save a few rupees is exactly how a pump quietly becomes a lesser pump. Our design team keeps refining every model for longer life and lower power consumption.

With the capacity to produce over 50,000 pumps a year, we serve customers in India and abroad — while keeping waste and our own power use under control.

Being a manufacturer, not a trader, means we can do more for you. We are a pan-India company, serving customers across the country. Our factory and Head Office in Naroda, Ahmedabad manage manufacturing and supply, while our Najafgarh, Delhi office supports sales and customer service.

With a network of 500+ dealers, POLTER PUMPS reaches farmers, builders, contractors, businesses and industrial customers across India. Our pumps are used for different water pumping needs, from homes and agriculture to commercial and industrial applications.

We also supply directly to project sites, housing and infrastructure contractors, factories and OEM customers based on their specific requirements.

POLTER PUMPS offers a complete range of pumping solutions for domestic, agricultural, commercial spaces, industries, construction sites and projects. Our V3 and V6 submersible pump sets, along with monoblock, openwell and pressure booster pumps, are designed to meet diverse water requirements with reliable performance.

The two offices split the country between them. Naroda, Ahmedabad covers Gujarat, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and the southern states, and handles all manufacturing and export dispatch. Najafgarh, Delhi covers Delhi NCR, Haryana, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir — the whole northern belt up to the hills. Orders for Nepal are handled as export consignments from the Naroda plant.
