POLTER PUMPS is the pump brand of Mapple Pumps Pvt. Ltd., founded in 2003 by Sumit Bansal. The company manufactures its own pumps and motors at its plant in Naroda, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, and holds ISO 9001:2015 certification.
POLTER pumps have been manufactured in Naroda, Ahmedabad, Gujarat since 2003, where the POLTER PUMPS head office and plant are located. A second POLTER office at Najafgarh, New Delhi handles North India sales and service.
POLTER PUMPS is a manufacturer, not a trader, and has made nothing but pumps and motors since 2003. The motors are wound and the impellers, bowls and stages machined at the POLTER plant in Naroda, Ahmedabad. Because the pump and the motor are both made in-house, one company carries the warranty for the complete unit.
Yes. POLTER PUMPS winds its own motors and machines its own impellers, bowls and stages in-house, across all 170+ models. The pump and motor are assembled and tested together as one unit before dispatch, so the pair is proved to work together rather than matched on paper.
Yes. Every POLTER pump is run on a hydraulic test bench and its actual output measured before packing. This is done on every unit, not on one sample per batch, at a plant that builds 50,000 pumps a year.
The POLTER PUMPS plant at Naroda, Ahmedabad has a capacity of 50,000 pumps a year. The company has been manufacturing pumps and motors since 2003.
Yes. Visitors are welcome at the POLTER PUMPS plant in Naroda, Ahmedabad. Buyers comparing submersible pump manufacturers in India can call +91 9821698852 ahead of time and be walked through the production line.
No company can award itself that title, so judge the shortlist on six checks: years in the trade, whether the motor is wound in-house, whether every unit is tested, the body and winding material, a certified quality system, and spares availability. POLTER PUMPS meets all six: manufacturing since 2003, motors wound at its own Naroda plant, every unit bench tested, cast iron body with copper winding, ISO 9001:2015 certified, and spares stocked through 500+ dealers.
POLTER PUMPS manufactures 170+ models across six categories: borewell submersible pumpsets from V3 (75mm bore) to V8 (200mm bore) in oil-filled and water-filled types, self priming monoblock pumps, centrifugal monoblock pumpsets, open well pumps, pressure booster sets and AC induction motors, plus solar pumping systems. The range runs from 0.5 HP to 20 HP and serves domestic, agricultural, commercial and industrial use.
Match the pump to five things: the water source (borewell, open well or tank), the discharge needed in litres per minute, the total head in metres (vertical lift plus friction loss), the power supply available (single phase or three phase), and the duty (domestic, agricultural or industrial). Send those five figures to POLTER PUMPS on +91 9821698852 and the team will name a model.
The best borewell pump is the one matched to bore depth, summer water level, pipe size, required discharge and power supply, not the one with the highest HP. POLTER borewell submersible pumpsets run from V3 (75mm bore) to V8 (200mm bore), with V6 models delivering heads up to 240 metres and V4 up to 180 metres, in single phase and three phase.
The right choice depends on the duty. For a home borewell a V4 submersible or a 0.5 to 1 HP self priming monoblock usually fits. For a farm bore a V6 submersible in three phase is the usual answer. For an overhead tank a pressure booster set is used. POLTER PUMPS makes all of these in one range from 0.5 HP to 20 HP, so a mixed site can be completed on one brand and one warranty.
POLTER V6 submersible pumpsets deliver a head of up to 240 metres and the V4 range delivers up to 180 metres. The right model depends on bore depth, summer water level, pipe size and the discharge needed per hour.
A monoblock pump has the motor and pump in one unit mounted above ground and suits shallow sources such as a tank, sump or open well. A submersible pump sits underwater inside the borewell and pushes water up, which suits deep sources. POLTER PUMPS makes both: self priming and centrifugal monoblock pumpsets for surface work, and V3 to V8 borewell submersible pumpsets for bores from 75mm to 200mm.
Total head is the vertical lift from the water level to the discharge point, plus friction loss in the pipe, plus any pressure needed at the outlet. A horizontal run adds roughly 1 metre of head for every 10 metres of pipe. Always measure the water level in peak summer and not in monsoon, because that is the level the pump has to work against. POLTER PUMPS can check the calculation if you send the bore depth, summer water level, pipe size and required discharge.
Yes. POLTER V6 and V8 submersible pumpsets in three phase, up to 20 HP, are built for agricultural borewells, and centrifugal monoblock pumpsets are used for open well and canal lifting. Wide-voltage POLTER submersible models hold their rated output from 280V to 380V, which matters on rural supply lines that swing through the day.
Yes. POLTER PUMPS builds solar pumping systems with an AC and DC pump controller covering 0.5 HP to 15 HP, with auto MPPT on every model and solar-plus-grid hybrid input, so a solar water pump keeps running on grid supply when sunlight is poor.
Every POLTER pump carries a 12 month written warranty from the date of purchase against manufacturing defects, covering motor winding, impeller and mechanical seal under normal use. Keep the original invoice and warranty card for a claim. Genuine spares are stocked through the POLTER dealer network of 500+ dealers across India.
Take the pump, the original invoice and the warranty card to your authorised POLTER dealer or the nearest POLTER PUMPS service point. The technical team inspects the unit and processes repair or replacement under the warranty terms. To locate a service point, call POLTER PUMPS customer care on +91 9821698852.
POLTER pumps are sold through 500+ authorised dealers across Gujarat, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Delhi NCR and the southern states, and in the north across Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir. POLTER PUMPS also supplies project sites and OEM customers directly from the Naroda plant. Use the POLTER Dealers page to find the nearest dealer.
Yes. All three are served from the POLTER PUMPS office at Najafgarh, Delhi and its dealer network across the northern belt. Wide-voltage POLTER submersible models hold their rated output from 280V to 380V, which suits the deep bores and unstable supply common in hill districts.
Yes. POLTER PUMPS exports borewell submersible pumpsets and monoblock pumps to Nepal, dispatched as export consignments from the Naroda, Ahmedabad plant. Enquiries for Nepal can be sent through the POLTER contact page or on WhatsApp at +91 9821698852.
POLTER PUMPS does not install pumps directly. Authorised POLTER dealers can recommend qualified electricians and plumbers locally, and the company provides installation guidance and technical support. Correct cable size, control panel and earthing matter as much as the pump itself, because poor installation is a common cause of early motor failure.
Yes. POLTER PUMPS takes OEM and project orders and can build to a required discharge, head, body material or customer branding anywhere in the 0.5 HP to 20 HP range, because the pumps and motors are made at its own Naroda plant rather than bought in. Send the project specification to POLTER PUMPS for a consultation.
Check and tighten the electrical connections, inspect the mechanical seal for leaks, clean the strainer or foot valve periodically, confirm the supply voltage is within range, and listen for unusual bearing noise. A borewell submersible pump should be inspected once every 12 months. POLTER pumps carry thermal overload protection, which cuts the motor out if it runs dry or the load spikes, but repeated dry running still shortens pump life.
POLTER PUMPS adds dealers in new districts across India every year. A dealer needs a valid business registration, storage and display space, and a commitment to after-sales service. Apply through the POLTER PUMPS Dealers page or contact the sales team on +91 9821698852.
